Renovation Update – 2/4/21
In an effort to keep parishioners informed during the various ongoing renovation projects happening at St. Paul’s, a meeting is held weekly between church staff, members of the property committee, architects and construction managers. Here are a few key developments from this week’s meeting: Permitting for the new sewer connection, electrical system, and Education Wing roof are in their final stages, and work should begin in the next week or two. Our architects will be testing methods of masonry restoration techniques in the next couple of weeks to determine which works best, and they anticipate beginning restoration shortly after. They will also be cleaning the woodwork and re-lamping the Sanctuary lights during this work. This will all be done in anticipation of the organ re-installation. There will be another update after next week’s meeting.
