Saint Paul’s Youth (S.P.Y.)

We are excited to welcome our SPYers back for the 2022-2023 program year. We have an exciting year planned: we will be meeting in the room formerly known as Godly Play 3 as we wait for the parish renovations to be completed. This year we will start our new Journey 2 Adulthood curriculum, which will help us to engage our faith, our society, and have some fun. Classes start on September 18 at 9:45 AM and we cannot wait to see you there.

Please take a moment to register your child for Saint Paul’s Youth. Having this information will make sure you know what is happening in SPY!

Our S.P.Y. (St. Paul’s Youth) program helps Middle and High school students to learn how to begin conforming to a spiritual identity and set of values. We help them take responsibility for those beliefs and commitments as they prepare for early adulthood and beyond. Middle and High School students each have their own Sunday School classes that meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45AM – 10:45AM.

S.P.Y. Wednesdays

Middle and High School students are invited to join us every second Wednesday, 5:30 – 7:00 PM for food, fun and—you guessed it—fire! A fire pit, that is. This will be a time to unwind, play games, eat, and get to know each other a little better. We will also have the opportunity to do service projects, plan exciting events, and more! Please join us in the Church School SPY room every second Wednesday starting October 12th!

Confirmation

Confirmation is the rite where we renew our baptismal promises to seek and serve Christ in all persons and receive the laying on of hands by the Bishop. In order to prepare for this mature public affirmation of their faith, students take classes taught by the clergy and Sunday School teachers. These classes are based on the popular Confirm Not Conform curriculum. Due to COVID-19, this year’s class meets virtually on Tuesday nights from 6:30PM – 7:30PM.
