Adult Choir
St. Paul’s Adult Choir is comprised of approximately 40 members, both professional and volunteer, who come from a variety of musical backgrounds. Membership is open to adults and high school youth. The full choir, or a schola (small group) sings at the 11:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist during the program year, in addition to once or twice monthly Choral Evensong. Two-hour rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings from September through May.
In recent years the Adult Choir has completed choral residencies at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York (2010), Washington National Cathedral (2014), and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London (2017). In 2022 the choir traveled to England and sang services at Exeter, St. Alban’s, and Southwark Cathedrals (read about the trip).
2023-24 Choral Auditions. Requirements to join the choir are a strong commitment to the choir schedule, a basic knowledge of music, and a good ear. You do not have to be a member of St. Paul’s or the Episcopal Church to join.
