Discovery Class – Confirmation Class for Teens

This is a class for any teens who are interested in learning more about their faith. In this discussion-based class, we will explore the basics of Christian Theology, the history of Christianity, and work to help familiarize our young people with the richness of spiritual resources like the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer. The class will be offered for 8^th Graders through 12^th graders. It is open to anyone who wishes to learn more about their faith.

It will be a prerequisite to be confirmed at the Bishop’s next visitation (a date which will be scheduled by the diocese at a time to be determined). It is also open for those teens who are seeking baptism or those teens who have already been Confirmed but would like to explore their faith more deeply. The Class will meet for 10 sessions at the 10:00 a.m. Formation Hour in between the services and be led by The Rev. Eric Hungerford, The Rev. Callie Swanlund, Elliot Mackin, and others. (students seeking confirmation would be expected to make 8 of these classes)   Register HERE
