Staff Singer Position Description and Requirements

St. Paul’s has a long history for excellence in Anglican choral worship, with a semi-professional adult choir of approximately 40 singers, including 8 staff singers. Visit stpaulschestnuthill.org/music/choirs/
For the 2025-26 season we seek enthusiastic professional singers (1 Soprano, 2 Tenor) with superior reading skills, musicianship, a positive and collegial attitude, and the capacity to sing as a soloist. Five years or more experience as a choral singer and the ability to comfortably sing without vibrato are requirements of all candidates. There is one weekly Thursday evening rehearsal, one Sunday morning service at 11am, and one or two Sunday afternoon services per month (Choral Evensongs, Lessons & Carols, etc.). Pay is $100 per service call; $75 per rehearsal call.
