We Welcome the Rev. Roger Randolph as Celebrant & Preacher this Sunday!
The Rev. W. Roger Randolph III is a 2023 graduate of United Lutheran Seminary, where he earned a Master of Divinity with a Certificate of Preparation in Black Church Ministry. He is currently enrolled at Trinity Anglican Seminary, where he is completing his Diploma of Anglican Studies.
On Saturday, July 1, 2023 Rev. Randolph was ordained to the Roster of Word and Sacrament (pastor) in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). He went on to serve at Christ Lutheran Community Church in Upper Darby, PA for two years. He is now in the process of being received into the priesthood through the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, where he is currently licensed to officiate.
Rev. Randolph is also a Captain and Chaplain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, serving with the 103D Brigade Engineer Battalion. He is a combat veteran, having deployed to the Horn of Africa in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2024.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Rev. Randolph is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Africana Studies.
Rev. Randolph has a strong passion for liturgy, the history and tradition of the Church, and speaking eternal truths into our contemporary world. His hobbies include reading, playing guitar, tennis, running, skiing, and listening to NPR way too much.
