April Outreach Collections: Old First House

During the month of April, we will be collecting for Depauls’ newest ministry. It is Old First House and is located in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia at the intersection of Arch and 4th. This is a newly constructed site that has been donated to Depaul by the United Church of Christ. It is permanent supportive housing for up to 34 residents (mixed gender) who are “right off the streets”. At Old First House, Depaul offers housing, case management, a (directed) individual goal plans, and seek alternate placement as/if/when needed. There is no limitation as to how long a residents can stay. Through goal plans and case management, the residents are urged to develop skills/resources needed to move toward independent living.
Our collection for the month of April will be directed toward the needs of Old First House. They are in need of toiletries (bar soap, toothpaste, disposable razors, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), female hygiene products, Kleenex tissues, and “lap desks”.
Thank you for your on-going support of our ministries.
