Adult Choir

Adult Choir at St. Paul’s Cathedral, July 2017

Saint Paul’s Adult Choir is comprised of approximately 50 members, both professional and volunteer, who come from a variety of musical backgrounds. Membership is open to adults and high school youth. The full Choir, or a Schola (small group) sings at the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist during the program year, in addition to once or twice monthly Choral Evensong. Two-hour rehearsals take place every Thursday evening from September through May.

In recent years the Adult Choir has completed choral residencies at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York (2010), Washington National Cathedral (2014), and most recently (2017) at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London (read more here).

Requirements to join the choir are a strong commitment to the choir schedule, a basic knowledge of music, and a good ear.  You do not have to be a member of Saint Paul’s or the Episcopal Church to join.  Interested?  Contact the Director of Music for more information and an informal interview.
