Face to Face Germantown’s Turkey Trot – Nov. 23

Face to Face’s Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, on the Wissahickon. 25 years ago, James J. Maguire, founder and Chairman Emeritus of Philadelphia Insurance Companies, and his family initiated the Turkey Trot to benefit the people of Face to Face. At Face to Face, struggling families, individuals, and the homeless are welcomed and treated with dignity and respect. The goal is to meet basic human needs and to reduce suffering, thereby assisting our guests in finding a better future. What began as a family fun run has grown into a competitive five-mile race, with a one-mile fun run/walk. The Turkey Trot is now Face to Face’s largest fundraising event, enabling them to meet the critical needs of the people of Germantown. The five-mile race along the Forbidden Trail of the Wissahickon starts at 9 a.m. To register click here.
